Who makes their own food

OK I'm thinking of starting to make some of my own food and was just wondering who else did so. I was wondering if some types are easier to make / culture and the pros and cons of doing so from those who have done so.

I'm also thinking of making up my own batches of frozen food as well so who else does that and what do you all add in there?

Inquiring minds want to know...

Thanks

I make my own frozen food. Saves money! And you dont have to worry about the binding releasing any extra nutrients in the tank!

MLB, on the tidewater-reefers site I posted a deal on making your own food. We did a demo at the first meeting on it, then gave it away at the end.

I make my own essentially following Marc's instructions. Buying the seafood at an asian market really keeps the cost down. For instance, my LFS has silversides for $20/lb. and the asian store sells the same thing for $3. Also, most noris are baked but at an asian store you canusually find one that is just dried, and for some reason my fish go nuts over that.

I also get a mixed bag of seafood for about $4 that has clams, mussels, shrimp, squid, octopus, and more. It's a great deal and I toss it in the blender with eveything else.

I love feeding the tank this way as there is a huge variety of frozen foods in each square inch of finished product so every fish will find something tasty every time I put something in. If you want more info. you can PM me.
