Do you guys use the supplements or do you use fresh garlic? I work at a restaurant and have access to fresh garlic, so will that stuff do the trick or is that not ok? what would i do, just soak the garlic in the food water? thanks :strooper:

IMO the best way to add garlic is to grate it. Place it in a fine mesh and squeeze the juice onto the food. Let it soak in for 5 mins and serve.

Almost everytime I feed. I crush it very fine and soak the food in it then feed. It keeps the fish healthy and disease free.

i dont feed all the time. i just use when the fish have any spots or are under any kind of stress. i think that if used too much it may lose some of its effect.

Soak all my food in Garlic...fish love it, they're healthy and full of color! I also use a few drops of Selcon in all my food as well.

I make my own food, and fresh garlic is always part of the recipe. It's a wonderful attractant, fish can't seem to resist it. Garlic-laden food is smelly, for sure, but there's nothing better for coaxing a new fish to eat.

Like some of the others, I make my own food and mince a bunch of fresh garlic into it - along with some Selcon and Zoe. The fish go wild.

I use 1-2 cloves of fresh garlic, crushed through a garlic press, for ich treatment.. Just added a pair of 1" hippo tangs and didn't do the garlic, they got ich on Day Three and I started. I know it'll work if they eat a couple pieces of the minced garlic, seems to completely repel ich.

Fresh garlic every time! I mince it, let it soak in ro di water use the jucies, soak my pellets in it till they swell up and feed. I have had better luck with freshly chopped than other products (garlic exteme and others). Its cured my ick problems in the past.

theres times when people say i got ich, what do i do. i dont tell them to use garlic cause i dont feel like arguing with people who say only hypo and copper will cure ich but garlic is the way to a healthy tank and i use garlic about twice a week.

I have some garlic extract that I bought. I use it occasionally, but I dont notice much difference so I kind of stopped using it.
