Who uses ozone directly to the skimmer?

Who here uses a ozone without a reactor?
I am concern about the seal on reeflo dart gold pump on my skimmer.
Should I get a reactor or should I just buy the ozone safe seal?

The other line is from the ozone generator.

I do, but it flows directly into the skimmer and not by the pump. I have an Aqua C and the air force sucks the ozone line right into the skimmer.

I do also...I just T'd my airline going into the skimmer pump, one pulls air the other ozone and they mix going into the pump. A skimmer works fine. You don't need a separate reactor.

Do you run the water outlet from the protein skimmer over carbon? What about the are coming out of the top on the skimmer collection cup. Do you get ozone smell and is it a concern?

thats what i do on mine

we do - low dose ozone fed straight into our AquaC skimmer. The output from the collection cup is passed through carbon. Pretty effective.
