Who will win xenia or frilly green mushroom

I have some xenia that is growing towards a rock full of my frilly green mushrooms. I was wondering if the mushrooms will keep the xenia at bay or will the xenia just bulldoze over the mushrooms.

I dont think the shrooms will keep the xenia at bay, not that I have seen it happen but I think the xenia will get a grip on some LR between the shrooms and pop up...
Maybe someone else has had someexperience with this...

At this point im just ripping the xenia off the rock to keep it away from the mushrooms.

That really won't work either. Xenia is the coming apocalypse. Soon I expect to see it growing out of my tank and into pots and in the garden. The military will be assembled to go after it with napalm. Napalm will morph it into Charlie Sheen. We will all die!!!!

I have some mush that did the same thing. the xenia just started to move over. As the mush moved so did the xenia. it was quite the show.

The hairy green mushroom is tough. I'd probably give it the edge. I have both these in my tank, also.

My bet is on the mushrooms, the xenia probably spreads faster, but I think the mushrooms will have a stronger burn :furious:

Stalemate is my bet. You will have xenias growing between the mushrooms, but neither will be affected and you will have a plague rock lol.
