just got my euroreef cs-80 in and dropped it in the sump. now i can actually start adding stuff to the pretty side of the tank.

hey richard i need to come over and pick up those pieces and parts i left over at your place. well just the overflow cover and that black acrylic thing you made to shield the light.

so is there an ugly side of the tank?

sure all i've been working on for a couple weeks are the guts. i'm not that turned on by plumbing and such.

What is your temp staying around? Just curious about it now versus once you start running your lights full time.

around 78-79. when i've left the light on for a couple hours it goes up to 80, but it don't have the light low enough just yet. it's about a foot over the water. it's like that so i'll have an easier time putting everything in and aquascape. i'll move it down to around 8" when i'm done.

i keep the a/c in the house low, as in it's nice and chilly in here and there's a ceiling fan on in the room.
