Why are clowns so annoying?

I have a 55g LPS softie setup with a Saddleback clown that is a PITA. every time i try to feed my frogspawn and trumpet coral, he will rip the food from the polyps and has ripped tentacles off the frogspawn multiple times. any suggestions from keeping the clown away from the corals? i currently have to turn the lights out and swat the bugger away for 30 minutes 2-3 times a week :/

I have a problem like that with shrimps, I usually feed them away from where I end up spot feeding. They get their fill/distracted elsewhere and I get to spotfeed my acans/euphyllia

When I had my Wellso brain my wrasses always stole its food. I cut the bottom off of a 2-liter bottle and put it over the brain while it ate its food. Didn't look all that great but did the job well :)

Wait until you get a clown that moves corals that are at least twice their weight and dumps them into other corals. At times they are truly a PITA.

I have a maroon clown that pecks at my featherduster every time it pops out. It only comes out at night when the clown is resting now....

I will try to cover it. This one is pretty bad and is RUTHLESS when it goes into the nem. It beats that thing up! I had a clarkii for 9 years that got close to 7" before she died. My hand was always bleeding when I tried to feed the anemone or do a water change
