why aren't tunzes alternating?

So I set up my tunzes on VarSpd 1 and 2.
Similar to Ken's profiles. Yet they are both on and off at the same times? I thought they would alternate intensities.

Left
initial off 4
on time 8
off time 0

Right
initial off 0
on time 8
off time 4

min/max 30/100 on both
sync disabled

what am I missing here?

They do overlap for four seconds, unless you have the divide by 10 on.

What do you see? Do you have the divide by 10 on?

Divide by ten is also disabled.
The outlets are:

[Left Tunze]
Set PM-LEFT
If Outlet MetalHalides = ON Then DAY-LEFT
If FeedA 005 Then OFF

[Right Tunze]
Set PM-RGHT
If Outlet MetalHalides = ON Then DAY-RGHT
If FeedA 005 Then OFF

I thought that when the metal halides went on or off the sequence would start with one tunze starting and the other waiting 4 seconds so they overlapped but would have one going at 100 while the other was at 30.

Enable sync.

Without sync then the pumps do not sync cycles and will be more random. Enable syncand it should be more to your likeing.

Not sure if you are still looking for help, but your "left" tunze has an "off time 0" meaning after it starts for the first time it will not turn off. I think you want to set that at 4, then you will have the it turn on for 8 then off for 4, on for 8 and so on

thanks Renton777.
It actually worked when I turned sync on and let it sit for 24 hours. i wondered if it had to past midnight or some arbitrary starting point for some reason to get sync'ed. mark
