Why did I get a short?

I ordered a mandarin for delivery today and didnt receive one? However today you have all types/sizes listed on the site? I understand you have lack of species at times but 24hrs? Didnt they know if was gonna be available today?
 
They will send you one within 2 weeks. That happened to me before as well with a coral. They ship it at no cost to you. They may have still been screening the fish. It is a bit odd timing but dont worry you will get it within the 2 weeks if they have them.
 
call and tell them you did not get it and they will explain what to do. You will have the choice of having them ship at no cost to you or they will just cancel the item. If they cant get it within two weeks it gets voided.

Thank you for your email. We apologize that the Green Mandarin was not able to ship. Although we update our site frequently, availability status can change as orders are filled and item status changes. Your shipment confirmation email should state that your order has partially shipped. As Vijaym85 stated, we hold back-ordered items open for two weeks. Should the Mandarin become available during this time, you would be charged for the item only as we do not charge additional shipping costs for back-ordered shipments. We would then email tracking information for the back-ordered item after it ships out. If you would prefer this fish to be cancelled or if you would not be available during this time period, please call us at 1-800-334-3699 at your earliest convenience.
