Why does my anemone want to die???

This makes it 2 x already where I've had to dismantle my MP40wet side to take the white anemone out. Luckliy it is still in one piece. After I take it out I try to place it where it is sheletered from high currents. Then it immediatly swells w/ water. So I know it is OK. But it behooves me as to why it does this? I've tried moving the Vortech a little higher but I need to have it move water behind the rock at the back of the tank. I made a little 'prison' for the anemone- it still has water access, I can still vies it, but I wanted to make it more difficult for it to ge out again. I've even fed it real good. I'm contemplating a little more permanent measure for it, as I got it for my false percula. They do not seem to be the least bit interested in it. I have frog spawn in the tank as well, xenia. Still the clowns do not seem to know that this it what they do for a living .

What kind of anemone is it? What are your water parameters? How long have you had it?

A white anemone is typically not healthy, and it is likely moving around to find an area is is happier at.

Also all anemones can move, Vortech have a powerfull undertoe, your better off getting a foam cover.

I do not think that a foam cover will help. It had entered from the front of the wet-side. I was thinking of constructing a "bra" for it. ( bra as in nose covers for cars). I just need to figure out how to reduce bulk from the fabric and so that it looks aesthetic in the tank.

have you thought of putting pantyhose over the fan, shouldn't constrict flow, I lost a nem to one.
