Why does my clam look so bad?

I have a croeca clam and it has been doing great, until like an hour ago. I dont get it all day it has been fine, then now its mouth is really wide, and i can see some like white flesh under the blue flesh. and I checked all my prams and everything is totally normal, so I dont have and idea what is going on. Does anyone have any ideas, Ill try to post some pics tomorrow. Oh ya, it still does react to change in light, and me touching the side.

ph 8.2 salinity 1.026, ca was 400, which is a little low. it has been in the tank for about a month, and has always been looking great, but last night its mouth was huge, and today it almost looks like the edge of the clam by the wouth is like spliting, and its spiting out white stuff.
Whats going on?
