Why does my halloween hermit......

crab always go back and sit in the exact same position on the exact same coral even after I have moved him a few times now???? he has been there at least four days now????

Because he can .. All jokes aside you could always put a strawberry basket over the coral

LOL I have to laugh because this happens to me all the time, a hermit will pick his spot, usually right in the middle of my shortcake acro, i'll move him, 20 minutes later, same crab, same spot! I had to move a scarlett hermit to the sump because of this, but he was very large & could knock things over as well.

I have one who sits in the middle of my toadstool mushroom. I knock him off but he gets right back on....

hermits can be very stubborn, I had one like that but a month in the sump reformed him, once i released him back into the DT he hasn't gone back to that coral.
