Why don't we have a yard sale?

You have 5 boxes of reef equipment that are missing one essential piece to make it whole again, there is a person in the club that has that piece that he or she hasn't got around to throwing out yet. what if we get together and put all our junk/treasure together and see what we come up with? maybe some good will come out of it and at the same time clear out our garages. I have a turbo twist UV that's missing the glass tube maybe someone has the tube and no bulb "Get it" OK lets go! you get the tables and I'll get the beer!

Who's yard are we using?

how bout the parking lot at the local BevMo? :)

Most likely it can't happen at ASAP for reasons that seem pretty obvious to me. ASAP gets 100% of their business from the LFS's. What you propose could put ASAP in a pickle with them ;)

I think I actually used most of my spare parts in my tankenstein build, but hey any excuse to drink beer sounds good to me.

That sounds like a really good and unique idea. We could have a fish equipment swap meet. We could use any old parking lot. Maybe someone on this forum has a business with a parking lot we could use.

I think last time we were going to do this, it turned into a BBQ meetup =)

I'm down, I have tons of brand new pumps and other equipment that nobody ever buys from me anymore =P

I have a Quiet One 4000 and 4000 HH. I also have an Eheim 1260 but I might bust that open and use it to mix some water soon.

Hehehehe, I don't think either of the Q1 pumps are suitable for skimming anyways, I need an junky old maxijet or something, someone gave 3 of them away in the bar boards but damnit if the vultures didn't swoop down quick to pick them up :D

I work at a church in Walnut Creek and would be willing to make the parking lot and/or the fellowship hall (big rectangular room) available for a swap. We have tables and the works. It'd be fine to have it there

...so long as everyone cleans up after themselves.

I know Walnut Creek isn't maybe as central as might be preferred, but it's one option.
