why I love my clowns

too bad I don't still still have this guy. A direct examination could lock it up. I do think the level of certainty I read here is based on the ingrained belief that they will not split. The assumption from a few of you that verrucae are not present without a photo confirming this and the logic that it should be burried in non existent sand seems a to be consistent with this. I am open to some posibility that I am wrong but for now I am going to stick with the assumption that the new kid on the block has one on you guys. Certainly reality is not a democracy. :)

Looks like BTA to me also. I've had both. I could be wrong too. Nice nem anyways. Thanks for sharing your pics. Very nice shots.

Hungry BTA is my opinion

the BT on the right looks pretty similar to yours sometimes

Yes the guy on the right looks almost identical from what can be seen, If that can be confirmed as a BTA it would be good evidence against my position. - Mark

I also wanted to say thankyou for sharing the blue carpet picture. I got one 3 weeks ago that looks just like that, only the disk lost all it's color and turned white. The last week it's started to get that pink/brown color to it, which made me think it was going to all turn brown, and the blue tips would disappear. You don't know how happy I was to see that picture. THANKYOU!

I have no certainty that it is BTA. My point was that if it had veruccae, you would probably remeber as they are very distinct in these species.

To add to your picture E.J.

Here was one of mine (( ignore the hole in the bottom of the foot, it came that way and didn't make it ))

that is weird looking. is that a special type? what does it mean if they have those markings?

the BTA in my pic was definitely a bubble tip. I bought it as it arrived to my LFS, still in the bag. It was all bubbly, but has looked that way since. A lot of people believe they are trying to catch food when stretched out like that.
