I know Steph. She bought stuff out of the basement before most people knew about the basement. She is not commercial, that is why she never was reported.

It was not an insult on her character or trying to make it seem like a scheme. I just think $10 per stalk of Xenia is expensive from a hobbyist.

Her Xenia is the EXACT same price as I have seen in LFS, Not $5 cheaper.

To her I am sorry for the thread getting out of hand.

You can say what you want about seasl the club.
BUT THE MEMBERS ARE NOT THE CLUB !!
Leave them out of it, I happen to like nearly every single one of them

Now Slash members make and are the club.
Your actions speak for the club.
From what I read on the locked thread I feel guilty for putting up a barrier between the two fractions.
I say everyone should feel welcome and move freely on both sides of the fences.
I do not think we should imply or convey the possibility of implying that we make ourselves different or better than the Seasl members.

We all like the same dang thing !!!

You can hate a faceless club or it's government but please stop taking jabs at the members.

Friendship is why I signed up. Hobbes is my friend, I don't want him not to post or to hold back his frustration about feeling offended anytime someone in Slash talks about anything seasl related.

I think that was a joke about being commecial. I don't remember who said it, but they were joking about being commercial since they had a monetary price on the xenia. i don't think anyone actually believed that she was commercial, and if they did they need to look a little into sarcasm.

Bottom line is that we are all in the same hobby and want to enjoy each other's experience, friendship and in the case of Capo, just being around the younger reefers

I don't see a need to trash another club ever. We have two clubs here in Saint Louis now and many people belong to both of them, for that I am grateful or we might not have many members if it wasn't for a lot of people in the SEASL club supporting a new club too. Last count we had over 70 members in SLASH and I would like to see that number grow.

But, if we trash our sister club here in Saint Louis, how many of the member's that belonged to SEASL first are going to re-join every year? We need to concentrate on being at the events we want with the people we want. Each club does things differently and the variety has been good for our area...it has really sparked the hobby in the STL area.

It would be good to post here as if you were face to face with the other person in one of the LFS or at the pizza joint. Try to remember that we all have feelings and we need to be considerate and neighborly in our written words. Hostility rarely breeds anything but hurt feelings and resentment.

Please be nice to each other...also, something that is part of Reef Central Policy is that if someone is selling something and you are not bidding on it in their thread, you have nothing to say, period. Future comments on someone's prices will be removed as that is against RC policy.
