Why is my Clown doing this?

Looks like it is digging a place to sleep. If this is your first clown you will notice it do alot of crazy things.

Interesting, I didn't know clowns dig to sleep, it's not my first clown, but it is one that live past 3 weeks, all the others I've had died of ick. But I have not turned the lights out yet so not sure if its sleepy or not, because I've seen it goto sleep when I turn out the lights.

Normal for a clown... My maroon does that constantly. Always cleaning house. The cave that she lives in has been excavated down to bare glass, she will also pick up the cc substrate and carry it outside the cave and spit it out somewhere else. She will also pick up the little crabs and carry them out and spit them out some place else. She even rearranges the rocks, one time after I redid the aquascape, she pushed over a 6" rock I had leaned up near her cave and tried to push it away from "her" area...

Thats why I chose a clown fish, they have so much personality and fun to watch. Now I need to decide on which fish to be my next, mayabe a Goby to go with my hitched hiked pistol shrimp.
