Why Is my Midas Blenny Brown?

My Midas Blenny has become a dark shade of brown and pink and I bought it at a shade of gold and yellow. Its color has gradually been darkening to this ugly dull puke color over time.

Its not stressed or anything, it turns black when its stressed.

Heres what it looked like a few months ago

Is there any way I could get it back to that beautiful gold color?

they can change colour, it looks like he used to mimic female lyretail anthias and now mimics male lyretail anthias.

Mine has kept the upper picture coloring for the years I've had it. But I do have two female Lyretails in my tank, so maybe that helps. He does swim with them at times.

Fittiger, it is the picture, he appears more brown in person, but has a hint of pink near its head.

So are you all saying they are mimicing other fish in the tank or something? I don't have any anthias.

it's probably change caused by mood/stress. I've seen newly introduced midas blennies get a brown and yellow zebra stripe pattern. Apart from that, you could try changing it's diet for a while to see if it's nutritionally related.
