Why is my tachy and acans struggling

I'd suspect chemical defenses from the palys so as people have said carbon is likely the answer

Had the same issue. I changed where some of the feed pumps for my reactors were located and left out the carbon reactor while I ordered some more. Due to procrastination 2 weeks go by and my Acans Lord and Fl Ric started looking a bit unhappy and struggled to find a reason. Added the carbon reactor back and within a few days they were back to normal.

Thanks for this. Been running carbon for two days. No change. Here's to hoping!

Bah. I'm about to give up. These are the only two out of over 20 corals in my tank that seem to be struggling. No changes yet.
