Why is the LFS list slimmed down?

Just curious as to why the area fish store list on ORCA got slimmed down?? If it's just sponsors now, why is Fanatics still on there?

Missing Pet Safari, Fishy Business, Open Oceans and Aquaholics (haven't been to the last 2 in a while so not sure if those are still around).

only stores that are ORCA sponsor are listed on there I believe. I'm not so sure that those 4 stores are ORCA sponsors, or possibly they just did not renew for 2009.

Directly from the top of the thread on O-R-C-A:
This post is a listing of all the Orlando area fish stores that have been submitted by ORCA members. Not all of the stores listed are ORCA Sponsors. Those that do sponsor our club are listed at the top and are denoted by having *** following their name.

The stickied thread suggests it's a complete ("ALL") list of Orlando stores. Club sponsor stores are indicated with a triple asterisk (***). Aquarium Fantastic is not indicated as a sponsor, yet they are still up, if it is the case the list was trimmed to only sponsor.

I why I'm asking is that the stores were on there, and now have been removed for whatever reasons, and no notice or reason has been mentioned.

I emailed the president about aquaholics and open oceans about a month ago

Are those still open? I need to stop by those places when I am in the area. Last time aquaholics had a nice red carpet anemone.

I did a Longwood fish store run yesterday and there are some good deals out there.

THey are both still open. OPen Oceans is my home store. I go to aquaholics for drygoods they have a bigger selection of stuff.

Gotcha...well it is a cool car ('85 Corolla GTS with the AE86 engine) that the game and cartoon Initial D really brought it back to life if you can find one.
