if you want to teach your kids about the reef get endless ocean for nintendo wii give it a look you will be impressed ,i play it myself kids cant get on for me

That looks prety cool. I google videoed it looks fun. My brother just got a ps3 tho. I like the wii games, baseball is rad.

ive only just started it but the atention to detail is cool,you can go close up to mandarins/ pistol shimp /so on and so on and it gives info on each fish after you feed or stroke them.i think this game will introduce kids to reefing

Be careful geting them into reef tanks. Next thing you know they will be asking for that new 500 dollar light fixture for christmas.

My thoughts went somewhat down this line as well, with one minor deviation.

How many new "Nemo" tanks will now be sold, set-up and discarded (along with the deceased inhabitants) in the next 6-9 months?
Some will go on to do things properly, but many will become the victim of overzealous merchants selling them their idea of a proper saltwater fishtank.

It doesn't come out until later this month in the US. I do enjoy some trauma center too though.

That sounds like a pretty sweet way to get kids involved in caring about the ocean...who knows, maybe they will grow up and become marine biologists and end up saving the oceans!

Well, last night I had a research proposal I should have been writing so I can go harass some sealife for real, but I bought this game and ended up playing for a ridiculous amount of time. I love it and even my roomy who has no interest in diving or sea life was totally into it.

My boyfriend got me a Wii as an early Valentine's Day present and also bought the Endless Ocean game.

Wow.

So peaceful and beautiful. I was like, "Ooh, look, a Sailfin Tang!" Or, "Oooh, look, a Parrotfish!"

I didn't play for too long since I was pretty tired, but it seems great so far. It's not action-packed or anything and the game makes no great demands of the gamer, but it's a nice "chill" game, and one I think my nephew will love when he comes over and begs to play on our gaming systems.

It's definitely a great educational tool for the younger crowd. I'm trying to teach my nephews and niece that, "No, that's not 'Nemo,' it's a False Percula Clownfish." Haha

I bought it and have been playing it like crazy. It's an amazing game with a lot more storyline to it than I thought there would be.

The highlights so far have been discovering a hidden cave with coelocanths in it and exploring the ancient ruins of a sunken city. I've never played a game quite like it.
