There is a huge possibility that this fish was trully caught in Madagascar....................specially if it was collected in Toliara region.............in the South West part of the Island....................

Fishes in this region have White tail..............but with some yellow on the outer rays of the tail.................exactly as in the fish exposed to sell.............

The bands are also not so wide as in the fishes from the north as in Comores..........Nozy be region in North West Madagascar............ and in Masoala National Park....................

They have just a little bit wider bands than African Allard´s...................

I think that the fish that they are trying to sell..............is from Madagascar.........not from African coast.............

At least this is my first impression.............

Yuri is back! As always great info. I would never have thought that to be latifasciatus. It certainly has allardi like traits. Kinda hard without a better view of the tail.
