I have a yellow Coris Wrasse. Its about 3 years old.
It has been a pretty good fish.
It is as finicky as any wrasse can get but it never really "freaked" out before.
Just about an hour ago I came home opened the door and entered the room, just as i closed the door I see my yellow wrasse dart up and down the tank several times, he ejected out the water hit the t5 light and darted into the sand.
It stayed there for about 5 minutes motionless... I though he kicked the can. i decided to move the sand near him and he darted out and burrowed into the sand on the other side of the tank.
My fish have been acting weird lately (possible temp swings in NYC), but the last time i saw a fish do this was with my Yellow tang when I had a larger tank.
What could have caused him to "freak" out other than me closing the door?
I will be doing a water test later tonight, but I did a water change a few days ago so.....
