Will a 6060 work for me?

Movin' on Up
My tank (65 gallon - 18x36x24 deep) is situated with the narrow end against a wall. Sump, etc are on the other side of the wall. I'm having a huge problem getting sufficient movement in the tank. I've tried wavemaker, powerheads, closed loop, etc. Here's a picture of the tank (canopy's only partially finished)

The rock goes down the middle of the tank; higher on the back to lower in the front. Will a single 6060 on the backwall work to move water all over the tank and not leave too many dead spots? Will it blow the tissue off any corals near the top back? Any other suggestions?

Tank is mainly softies, LPS, zoas, etc.

Thanks.

It would be about double the flow of your Seio and depending on placement could damage some LPS but it should work if you are careful in pump and coral placement.

Well it came in today and I installed it in the rear right corner blowing towards the front left corner. Works like a charm. There's an organ pipe coral right in front of the stream but it doesn't mind it at all. Everything moves and waves on both sides of the tank.

I'm going to experiment with adding a MaxiJet with a Hydor Flo to give the Tunze some "randomness".

Thanks for a great product.
