will a bubble tip anemone live under 2x36t5 18inch tall tank?

What color temp (Kelvin) are the bulbs? How close will the anemone be to the light bulbs? I'm assuming HO, right? What brand of t-5 is the fixture? If you have daylight bulbs, and the anemone is in the middle or upper half of the aquarium, and the fixture is a brand that has good reflectors, then you should have no problem keeping a BTA with two 36 inch t-5 HO bulbs.

The t5 bulbs I have are ati blue plus and ge10k, both have ice cap slr reflectors and a fulham ballast. I will more than likly put them in hte middle.

i have a similar set-up. 2x54w T5HO
1xpower glo (18,000K)
1xmarine glo (actinic)

on a 55gal (which is 18 tall roughly as well)

could a BTA or sebae anemone be ok under that as well?

BTA's live in the rock and can easily be placed higher toward the top of the tank, in which case your lighting should be fine. Sebaes (whether it is H. crispa or H. malu) tend to be in the sand bed as they like to bury their foot. In which case, I would be inclined to have four 54-watt ho bulbs. You might very well be able to get by with two, but 4 couldn't hurt and would likely benefit the anemone. Also sticking exclusively with daylight (6,000K to 10,000K) would yield a higher PAR and insure your anemones are getting the most photosynthetic activity per watt.
