Will a clam be affected by the use of interceptor?

Will it harm/affect the triacnid in ANY way or manner? About to nuke my tank with interceptor to kill of black bugs on montis. oh, and how does one catch a peppermint shrimp..

ive never had to use interceptor but from the people ive talked to with clams that have, it didnt effect the clam at all.

It doesn't seem to have any affect at all on mollusks, but since you just got that clam recently, it wouldn't hurt to wait another week or two. You never really know what a clam will do in a weakened state.

Good advice. What i'll probably do is let it attach on the rock, then remove all clams during the treatment in a small temp set up.

i've never had any problems with my clams ( 5 total ) when dosing with interceptor. i have nuked red bugs a few times and my clams never show any stress at all. don't be scared, nuke them bugs.
