Will a damaged clam regenerate?

I have a 5" Crocea that I've had for about a year. It recently spawned after I moved both it and a 2" Maxima. The Maxima died, but the Crocea is still alive. It took about a week forthe Crocea to open back up fully after spawning.

Now, a couple days after it opened, it looks like its siphon tube has been bitten and a small area of its intake open looks like it was bitten too. Will it repair itself?

I have no idea what might have done it, but nothing seams to bother it.

yes it will repair itself. make 100% sure that nothing will bother its healing process.
