will a fish's lateral fine grow back?

My fire fish got pistol'd and lost his fin on his side....do those grow back?

I have always had my fishes fins grow back when they have been bitten off or damaged..........

I use this teatree natural healing stuff (its at most pet stores cant remember who makes it but its in a blue bottle) also there is this stuff made by API i believe. Its called stress coat + with aloe

I always dose both of those when I have an injured fish and have had good luck......
