Will a Magnum 350 with floss + Polishing filter remove copper?

Been trying to dose copper to cure Velvet.

Ive added 75% of the dose and copper is barely showing in the 2 tests i have

API copper test and Sea Chem copper test.

The filter in the tank is this.

With this around it.

What brand copper are you using? API is for chealated only, seachems I find very tough to read until final dose. Neither of those filter medias will absorb copper. I'm assuming no lr or aragonite in the tank?

Just realized you had an earlier post. The live rock is absorbing the copper.

For cupramine, seachems or salifert. For copper power or coppersafe, api

Seachem is just to hard to read.

I prefer Salifert for copper. I agree that the Seachem test is too difficult to read.
