Will A. Polymnus make it?

Got a 2.5" a. polymnus in hopes to pair it up with my female. right now he's in a holding tank with my harlequin shrimp but he's been breathing pretty heavily since i put him in. i noticed that he was really jumpy in the bag. i put him in the tank 4hrs ago

Polymnus are among the most skiddish clowns. they tend to go on long runs when the lights come on or off and when they are otherwise startled. they like to hide at first. They calm down but it takes awhile.

he's still around, still breathing fast. i think next step is trying to figure out how to get it to eat

id give it a few days and feed the tank as you normaly would, maybe use turkey baster to shoot a bit of food the clowns way! As long as he is smaller then the one you had already you should be fine! I had to get another male awhile back due to female sudden surf accadent! good luck!

i dont think its going to pull through. for whatever reason he looks very beat up and damaged. he's in a separate system by himself and has not been introduced to any other fish yet. powerheads been off this whole time too. he was doing good when i left for work

if this one passes away, can i try another one? the store received two, and i picked one, but their's is doing great
