Will a red and green mandarin pair up?

I have a male red mandarin that I have had for almost 2 years and am wanting to get him a mate but I'm having a hard time finding a red female. Would a red and green mandarin pair up?

+1. Problems pairing are with green mandarin and spotted mandarins. Those species could fight even if male/female
