Will a UV sterilizer kill parasitic copepods?

It may kill the ones that travel through the UV.. I wouldn't rely on a UV to get rid of any parasites on its own. Formalin dips will eradicate Parasitic copepods

Are you dealing with parasitic copepods? I found one on a chromis right before it died. All three of my chromis died but all other fish have been fine...so far. I don't know if I should worry about my other fish. What is your experience with these critters?

Actually I think what I'm dealing with is Argulus(fish lice). The fish has been in qt since I got it but it keeps getting re-infected. The different treatments I have tried, Quick Cure(which is formalin, malachite green),prazipro, fluke tabs and fresh water dips) get rid of the parasite pretty quickly but don't do much for the egg stage of the life cycle so that is why I am considering uv.

If its in a quarentine tank maybe you can pick them off or do a formalin dip to get all the lice to drop off and them move the fish into a new tank so you don't have to worry about the eggs hatching and reinfesting. Lucky you caught it before putting them in your main tank. I didn't with the copepods!
