Got a few anemone shrimp from the LFS today. One is missing one of its arms. Do these tend to grow back over time?

20+% water change will help replenish iodide to help it molt.

DO NOT DOSE ((( Iodine ))) it will kill EVERYTHING in your tank!

Dose ((( Iodide ))) which is that inverts need to help them molt.
Must follow instructions on bottle or else you'll overdose!

Iodide is consumed fast in aquariums by tank inhabitants, so whenever you do a water change it replenishes iodide and most people notice their inverts like to mold after water changes for that very reason. Low level iodide tanks have high mortality rates for inverts when they molt since it's very important for their exoskeleton.

I'm going to look more into this. This is very good information as my tank is mostly inverts. Does this also benefit coral?. I do weekly water changes but maybe my system is using it faster then I'm replenishing

I maintain iodide at 0.03-0.06 in my 65g and have done so for decades.
Beneficial to leathers, gorgonians and shrimps.

To maintain the level, I deploy iodide through my ATO.
