guys, i bought an arc-eye hawkfish but it is still in my QT.
Will arc-eye eat my fire shrimp and/or harlequin shrimp?
Anybody here had bad experienced with arc-eye please share. thanks fellow reefers.

In a word, yes.

They'll definitely eat any shrimp they can fit in their mouth, including cleaner shrimp. They get big enough to eat all of the ornamental shrimp on the market. Unless your hawk is truly tiny, the harlequins will probably be gone almost immediately. The blood/fire shrimp may make it a little while...but eventually the hawk will grow and the shrimp will be eaten.

Strange, but my harlequin is the only shrimp in my reef tank that didn't get eaten - by I suspect my Floral wrasse.

cleaner, blood and bumble bees all disappeared over time.

+2. It will kill & eat your shrimp. And if you don't have any aggressive fish in your DT, it may start on your fish next...

Matt.
