Will hammer coral kill feather dusters?

I have some feather dusters in my tank in the same area I want to put some hammer coral. I know the hammer coral will eventually get pretty big and that its sweeper tentacles will get even longer. Will the feather dusters be harmed by the coral? Or if I put them father away from the hammer do you think it won't be an issue for awhile?

or just let nature take it's course and watch how the two dance... One is photosynthetic and the other isn't.

I don't think they can actually hurt the worm within the tube. Sweepers would only sting the crown and not effect the worm within the tube.

Of course I could be totally wrong too, but none of the corals bother my feather dusters. I have some of those tiny red ones growing on the underside of a plating monti thats quite the colony of feathers.

My blonde naso loves to attack my feather duster, I tried burying it in sand, hiding under rocks, but somehow he always got a hold of him and finally the feather duster got in just the right place that he can extend out, but his tube is hidden, but it just so happened to be next to my hammer... my hammer is new/small but so far they get along...

I’ve kept these two close to one another, and they don’t seem to be bothered. We’re always learning new things though, so who knows?
