i just got a rose tip anemone for free from my boss! his has split 5 times now and i got the newest baby. i placed him in the tank 2 days ago, where i would like him, but of course, this wasnt where he wanted to be. hes moved undernieth the rocks. will he move towards the light?

From my limited experience, after he gets used to the current conditions he will come out and find a spot he likes. Just give him time.

How exciting! As long as your water conditions/salinity are correct I wouldn't worry about it. It seems that rbtas often do this while adjusting to their new environment. Now lets see some pics if you can get them! lol

Im going through the same process right now. I just picked up my BTA (not a rose though) yesterday and it went straight to the dark......

well, thats good to know. hes just hanging there with upside down from a rock in the dark. i do have pics, but i cant post them. my camera is working, my computer is working, but for some reason, they dont wanna work together anymore. im hoping its just the cable thats not functioning... i ordered another so im hoping that will work.

ok, heres a coulpe of pics. as you can see in the second pic, there is a feather duster by where the nem has decided is his new home. in the 1st pic, the poor feather duster is buried. will this kill him? can i SLIGHTLY move the nem over so the feather duster can move? the nem is only partially on the rock, so id like to move the part thats not out just a bit, possible???

Did you place the feather duster there? If so it might be easier to move the feather duster and let the anemone be.

well, kinda. the feather duster has been in there for about 6 months, i dont knw maybe even a year.... hes been through so much, ppor thing. when i first put him in the pep shrimp ate his feathers off, then i thought he was dead, so i ripped some of his tube off. he came back about a month later with new feathers and a new tube!! i dont think i can move him!
