Will i be able to keep SPS

OK i want to know if my lighting is good enough for sps. I have a 55g with a 250w SE 14k bulb mounted in the middle of the tank and i have 2 110w VHO bulbs so add some extra lighting. Will this be enough to keep sps? I may be able to switch out the 2 VHOs for 2 or maybe even 3 t5s but without reflectors for the t5s becuase of the way my hood is designed. The was it is designed is the MH sits over the other bulbs meaning the MH sits higher up then they VHOs. Thanks

you will be fine with your ligthing IMO. they should grow well, i just might not put them at the bottom of the tank....

You should even be able to keep things toward the bottom. You may be a bit dim on the ends, though. Why not get the one extra fixture to cover your entire tank? With the 2-250s, you wouldn't have any issues, even toward the sides.

You should be ok in the middle a foot on each side.

good to go on the lighting. supplementation products will be essential though.

I know about the water chemesty and all of that just wanted to make sure the lighting was good enough first
