Will I bleach my corals by...

Cant say 100% but bleaching(the coral turns white) is known to be caused by uv and ir radiation. If those halides come with glass uv shields then I dont think it will happen. If they are unsheilded they may bleach due to the corals surface temperature being warmer than the water itself.
 
If you have doubts about the corals being injured by the new lighting intensity place a few layers of screen over the top of your tank and remove one of them every 5 days or so. This will give the corals a chance to adjust to the new lighting intensity.

Interesting, never thought about that. I was kind of thinking that I should be ok - its not like im putting them under 400W lights in a shallow tank.
