Will it fit?

I am getting a new tank. Hopefully a 72x36x24 eurobraced. The only problem is I really want to be sure what I can fit down my stairs. Do you have any suggestions short of building a mock tank out of 2x4's. Thank you.

i built a little mock up out of 1x2s to see if i could make the turn down the stairs in my house. it was pretty easy and good piece of mind

I did the same when I moved my large tank, hit Home Depot 5 sticks of 2x2 cost=8 bucks and you should be good to go, good luck

Thanks. I didn't think about 1x2's. That's a great idea. It will be lighter too. Not that the tank will be.

make sure you remember how you got it down there too. try it several ways and find the easiest. it will make directing your help easier and you wont have to worry about that oops how did i get that mock up down here.

Thank you for the suggestions. I think I will get the people that are helping me during the mock up trial. That way I have more peole to blame when we can't remember.:rollface:

I've heard of people using carboard. It's probably not as solid as the 1 x 's but just another idea. Good Luck!
