Will light go through this glass?

It will be a little less because the glass has the green tint to it. But dont think it will be to noticeable

I would remove that brace and euro brace that tank. Easy diy project. Having that brace on there would make accessing the middle of the tank hard. Not to mention the salt creep that will build up constantly and trust me it will. Get some 1/2" strips cut and flat polished and order some rtv silicone and call it a day.

I will reduce the light a little bit, but it shouldn't be an issue. I have a big glass brace like that on my 180g tank and it's not a big deal. yes getting at things under the glass is a bit more work, but it's just not a big deal. BTW, I love the look of that tank! How big is it? And I'd leave it just the way it is. But that's just my personal opinion.

It's a 230 gallon. Custom made new but owner decided he doesn't want to set it up now. It has holes where I could do a bean animal if I build a calfo type over flow. $700.
