Will my female flame wrasses stay female for a month??

i have two female flames.....they will have no male for approx 4 weeks. will one turn male during that timeframe? the last thing i want is to introduce a new male when one is already turning male. i will be recieving the supermale no matter what he is already paid for so any advice is welcome, thanks!

Hmmm... Very delicate question. It varies according to species, but in some the change is very quick. They can change (behaviorally and hormonally) in a matter of days, but the entire change (gonadal) takes weeks to months. How old are they? The older they are, the quicker the change will be. If you introduce a male while one of the females has already started changing they will fight.

i have no idea how old they are....i have only had them for a short period of time....
