Will my hermit die? help!

my hermit has some weird lump on him which I think came from the brittlestar after its weird lumps hanging off its tentacles touched the hermit, whatever it is, please help. I hope he wont die.

That pic is way too blurry to see anything.

But a bump on the leg is probably nothing.. hermits can lose legs and grow them back. I don't think it is isopod activity either, but again, can't see anything to answer that with certainy.

thanks for the info, it looks a bit like a claw now but strangely is a different color.

OH!!!!!! its a new claw, when I got him 5 days ago he had one claw, I thought he only had one! I freaked out there, thanks anyway.
