What a mess.....

The tank was doing great, corals growing, fish health......

Then my auto fill float switch got stuck, sump overflowed, and salinity dropped.

Most of the corals are coming back, but it looks like my leathers took the heaviest hit.

Here's the before and after pics. Any ideas on what I could do?????

How long has it looked like this. Leathers can take up to a couple of months to reacclimate. They will have die off. The tips will turn white and detach. They will be all slumped over. I would do a iodine dip and put it in a low light and good current.

This happened on Thursday. The leather is down at the lowest point of the tank, and I did point one of my powerheads at it to provide more circulation.

I'll do the iodine dip tonbight.

Thanks

Just make sure to follow the directions for the dip, and trust me it will look like it is going to die but give it a few weeks. Eventually, it will slowly start to look better and you can start slowing moving it back to where it was placed in the tank. You can also aid the die off being removed by spinning it so the current takes of the die off and when it sheds
