Will my lil' Scoot be okay?

I took the intake off my my AQ 110 converted fuge for a cleaning. About 2" was left in the tank. I wasn't gone but MAYBE 1 minute and my scooter blenny was sucked up. I know, I know, I should have turned it off but it was only for a quick rinse. Trust me, I am mentally kicking my butt for leaving it on. I ALWAYS turn it off but I was in a hurry as company is coming later and I wanted to get it done beforehand. I got him out and he is alive but just staying in one corner of the tank. He is breathing but seems to be gulping also. It will break my heart to lose him. He was one of my first fish and I have had him 3+ years. Are these guys pretty tough to take a trauma such as this?

Last night, I couldn't find my red scooter blenny anywhere. I found him in the sump. He was pretty stressed out, but wasn't injured. When I put him in the tank, he wasn't moving. After a few minutes, he was fine and scooting around. He went down a pretty big drop. I think your scooter blenny will be okay.
