Well I bought another batch of chaeto but this time I purchased it from LFS and Im hoping I can keep this stuff alive. I have the correct lighting in the refugium and I removed my phosguard also. While I was bleaching my purigen the other day, I was wondering if the purigen filter had something to do with my chaeto dying off??
I have a 110 gal FOWLR and I keep my nitrates around 20 and I tested my phosphates the other day and they were .19. I dont know how I got my phosphates that low because I removed that phosguard over 2 months ago. Im going to narrow this problem down one way or another. LOL
I purchased some of Kent's iron and maganese supplement and I'll probably hold off for a few days to see how this chaeto is going to work out. I'll keep my fingers crossed. :fish1:
