Will temp rise cause RTN or bleaching?

Lately I've noticed more of a temp swing with it being hotter outside. Normally may tank swing within 1 degree a day. Lately I've noticed from 77.5-81.5. With this cause RTN or be a cause do my corals bleaching?

I've notice 1 by 1 some of my frags skin receding from the bottom up. I've done water tests and all seems on par, phosphate is a little high .25 but not out of control. The only thing I can think of is the rise in my temperature.

Any feedback is appreciated.

.25 for phosphate is a lot high for sps's . i would consider .06 to be a little high.

i never let my phos get over .03

a 1 degree swing wont cause issues but temps over 82 can be.

I agree with the po4 level being a potential issue, the temp is probably not an issue. Keep in mind the average temp on reefs worldwide is about 83, that is the average not the extreme. We typically keep our tanks significantly cooler than what happens in the wild. Here is some excellent reading that may help.

IMO, the swing is more important than the actual number - add some fans and try and keep it about about 1 degree. I keep my tanks at 79, but they pretty much stay right there...

Thanks for all of your input. I'm running a reactor and just changed out my media. I do so every 6 weeks. Last time was 4 weeks ago. I'm holding off on more fans as I'm ordering new LED lights. I think those will help reduce the temp from rising.
