Will the ich be removed/fall off if I do hypo on the infected fish in the QT?

I need to set up a QT anyways, but want to make sure that if I set up a 20 gallon today with the water that is infected in my display tank, that it will cure my fish..for sure. If the ich looks embedded a lot in the fins, is it too late?

If there is a posibility that my fishes ich wont die, what can I do..

I heard copper, but that isnt good for puffers?

None of the proven treatments affect the parasites on the fish. They all target the parasites when they drop off to reproduce.

If you use copper, I would use Seachem's Cupramine because you have a puffer.
