Will this cure ich?

So I was thinking that possibly if I get rid of all my fish and inverts and drain my tank completely, the ich would die and it wouldn't take long. I haven't really found any proof that that would work so what do you guys think? It's only a 20 gallon tank with 2 fish and a small cleanup crew

Not sure what you mean by "drain the tank" ...but unless you replace all substrate, rock and sterilize the tank and equipment with bleach, while QT'ing the inverts for 12 weeks, and the fish tteated with copper...Then you might as well go the fallow route; 12 weeks, leave inverts in, remobe fish and treat separate.

You need a QT/HT to really enjoy this hobby. Why not get one and get rid of ich the right way. Treat the fish in the QT/HT and let the DT stay fishless for about 12 weeks. Then properly quarantine all new fish and never have to go through this again.
