ok.... well, when i went to the fish store, i saw this beautiful little sea star and i just couldnt resist. upon my getting home, i suddenly remembered that some stars eat clams (i have a maxima). I put it in a "i cant believe its not butter" container with holes for the might. Will it eat my clam or corals... i mean it IS bumby and I DO have a reef tank.
The Star is:
Purple with little yellow dots along its backside
Bumpy (which I was told is bad?)
Not a cushion star ( I know that for sure)
Has little red "thorns" at end of arms
about the size of a quarter
If anyone has any info could you help me identify this star?
