will this stuff work as a replacement to weld-on?

ok so i got some of this stuff(pic at bottom) at lowes yesterday cause i got a fuge that had a crack in the bottom i was told weld on #16 would work but they didnt have it so i got this stuff will it work?

If its a crack I wouldn't just seal it I would also patch with some acrylic.

if that stuff fuses the acrylic then i say use it. if not, then i would get weld-on.

Its says bonds on the packet.

But then in spanish it says PEGA wich means Glues.

If its silicone, I wouldnt use it.


If its a crack Id do what the 2 guys said above already.
You'll need Weldon for sure.

Look in the yellow pages under plastic. Get a tube of weldon 16. About $4.00

That's glue, not the same thing as weld-on, which chemically alters acrylic to bond. I wouldn't use it.

bonding is not the same as fusing.
