Will this work with acrylic tank (overhanging another)

So I wanted to run this 110 as a inline tank that i could offline easily. (Pump in 125 sump into the 110 acrylic). The overflow bulkheads are set back a bit further, I was always told acrlic needs total support , so how then would someone normally run a bottom of tank bulkhead anywhere because at best you skip the area of the overflow?

Went with this which is as little as possible overhanging so I can run pipe straight down into sump. I suppose I could try to wedge a bit of 2x4 or something underneath the "wings" of the tank on either side of the overflow.

on the board underneath the 110 could you cut out the footprint of the overflow and simply run a 45° off the bottom and into the sump?

No, the tank is only 18 wide. I would think I'd be losing way too much support down the middle if I spaced the bricks further apart? (2 holes in the overflow, even just using one it's offeset from middle by like 3-4 inches.)

I feel like even with the tank being 18 inches wide it would have plenty of support on that side. Even if the overflow box is 9 inches you still have 4.5 inches on both sides for support and you can leave the 9 inches unsupported.

I made one sump taller then the other and just put them side by side. Simple and you don't need to worry about support.
