Discovered a whelk in my 60 cube which houses one pair of mated oscellaris. I've been frustrated lately about the loss of eggs/larvae before the scheduled hatch day from their flower pot. The largest loss usually occurs the day before the due day. They have been very regular with regard to eggs hatching on the 6th night. With this guy out of the tank and a clutch due to hatch Sunday night, may be an indicator if there is no significant loss.
Anyone know if welk are a predator of eggs/larvae?
